The designers at Contender understand what the fisherman and the leisure boater want from their boats, and they deliver on both accounts with the Contender 28 Sport. When you board the boat, you will immediately notice the wrap around seating at the bow of the vessel, but one thing you will not see is a lot of overly designed aspects. The seating is quite basic, but still offers the support needed for a comfortable ride. For fishing, the seats act in a different way. The bottom seats are folded down to enable the fisherman to get right to the edge of the Contender 28 Sport to reel in the big one with enough leverage to keep stable at all times. The entire seating system has been designed to deliver maximum usability without compromising on overall comfort.

Driving the Contender 28 Sport is remarkably easy compared to other larger boats. The controls are straightforward and not overly fancy, so even the novice can understand how to use them.
